Queer Voices is a long-running reading series that provides LGBTQIA writers and audiences an accepting environment to explore the day-to-day material of life without censorship. In 2019, curators John Medeiros and Andrea Jenkins, along with facilitator Lisa Marie Brimmer, collaborated to publish a collection of poetry, fiction and nonfiction pieces by presenters in the series entitled Queer Voices: Poetry, Prose, and Pride. Join us as contributors share readings from the new collection. Collaborators: Minnesota Historical Society Press, Magers & Quinn Booksellers, and Quatrefoil Library. ASL interpreters will be present at this event.
