Annual Downtown Greening Celebration

Join the DID at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 13 at Pohlad Auditorium, Central Library

Join us, as Minneapolis DID and ULI Minnesota host the second annual ‘What Makes Great Cities Great’ program. Guest speaker Alex Garvin, Professor of Urban Planning & Management at Yale University, will discuss the past, present and future of public space and why it matters in creating vibrant cities. The program will also include a celebration of the large and small place-making through greening which has already made a difference in Downtown Minneapolis. Several organizations and businesses will be presented with awards for their commitment to enhancing the public realm.

Details: Tuesday, March 13, 2012 4:00pm, at Pohlad Auditorium, Central Library. This event is open to the public on a first come first served basis (1.0 Hour of CRE & AICP credits applied for).
