Join us, as Minneapolis DID and ULI Minnesota host the second annual ‘What Makes Great Cities Great’ program. Guest speaker Alex Garvin, Professor of Urban Planning & Management at Yale University, will discuss the past, present and future of public space and why it matters in creating vibrant cities. The program will also include a celebration of the large and small place-making through greening which has already made a difference in Downtown Minneapolis. Several organizations and businesses will be presented with awards for their commitment to enhancing the public realm.
