Mpls Downtown Improvement District

On a recent Sunday afternoon, shortly before the start of a Twins game I was riding my bike through downtown. I suffered a flat tire and had no tire changing equipment with me. I came across an Ambassador near Target Field. While helping visitors to the Twins game the Ambassador also took the time to work with me to solve my problem. He radioed the dispatch center and worked with the dispatcher to find the nearest bike shop, determined the best bus route to get there, verified that the bus had a bike rack and then directed me to the nearest bus stop for that route. All the time he did this with the kindest and friendliest of manner and helped to make my predicament into nothing more than a minor adventure on a lovely Sunday afternoon.
