Mpls Downtown Improvement District

I work downtown and I’m a former downtown resident. I have to say that the presence of the Ambassadors has transformed the energy of downtown in a very dramatic, positive way. Your ambassadors are so friendly, helpful and really care about people and Minneapolis. They are so visible and bring a great energy to the city. I was entertaining some business colleagues downtown and we passed an ambassador who made eye contact, smiled and said hello. My business guest wanted to know who those people in green were and if Minneapolis is always that nice – I told her downtown was that nice. What a great impression for our out of town guests!

This winter I was particularly struck by how the ambassadors continue to be friendly, even when it is cold. Wow! I love how the team takes care of the city. And I love all the smiles.

To offer another person a smile, is to give a gift. Your team does this each and every day. And, it makes a HUGE difference. I even see their smiles from my car when I’m stopped at stoplights!
