  1. Summer time: The first summer on the new Nicollet is just starting to wind down, but it’s been a great one.  The Farmers Market continues every Thursday through October, DID brings you the local handmade goods of the Nicollet Maker’s Market on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, Street Show offers live street performances most weekday lunches and happy hours, as well as special performances all summer long in the Nicollet Theater in the Round. There have been over 500 hours of public performances this season featuring over 75 different artists. Nicollet hosted the downtown National Night Out on August 7th. Two new self- guided Nicollet tours kick-off next month (one on Nicollet’s street design, the other on urban oddities called Weird Nicollet) which join our existing Architecture and Art tours. In September, watch for the debut of Street Eats, which will bring additional street food options to Nicollet this fall. For more details about upcoming activities, head to OnNicollet.com/events  Please join us and bring your friends. The goal is to create interest and bring positive activity on Nicollet!
