The Nicollet Community Space, located street-level on Nicollet and 6th St. S, is a space for all members of the downtown community to gather and connect with Mpls DID and our partners. Stop in free and inclusive events, games and activities, engagement opportunities, restrooms, resources, and more.

TUESDAY PROGRAMS

The Nicollet Community Space is proud to offer community programs and events on Tuesdays! These programs and events are free and accessible and open to the public.

• 1st Tuesday of the Month: First Tuesday Social (3pm - 5pm)

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

The Nicollet Community Space provides resources for downtown visitors, employees, and residents alike. Stop in to access our public restroom, receive directions and maps, or to learn more about what is happening in downtown Minneapolis. We also offer a drinking fountain and water bottle filling station and a cell phone charging locker.

GAMES AND ACTIVITIES

We offer indoor and outdoor games and activities for folks of all ages! Come have a seat at one of our tables and pick up a game of cards, Bananagrams, Hive, or checkers. You can enjoy our many complimentary activities, including giant Connect Four, giant Chess, giant mancala, giant Jenga, ladder ball, and bean bag toss out front on Nicollet Mall. Younger children can play in our small indoor play area with coloring books, toys, play food, astroturf, and plastic play cubes.
