Tunes on the Plaza: Enjoy live music from local artists at Peavey Plaza Every Wednesday 5:00 - 6:00pm this summer!  

Fitness on the Plaza:  Join YMCA Minneapolis for Joyful Movement and Standing Pilates every-other Tuesday at Peavey Plaza this summer!

HISTORIC LANDMARK

Designed by renowned landscape architect M. Paul Friedberg, Peavey Plaza opened in 1975. A notable example of modernist architecture, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The design team, led by Coen+Partners, facilitated a project that celebrates the Plaza’s historic modernist design, enhances sustainability and makes the Plaza accessible to all.

Peavey Plaza is operated and programmed by Mpls Downtown Improvement District on behalf of the City of Minneapolis. Mpls DID is responsible for the work it takes to keep Peavey Plaza safe, active, and well-maintained.
