DID is bringing outdoor recycling to Nicollet Mall

It will be the first outdoor recycling program in the city
Beginning May 23rd, visitors to Nicollet Mall will be able to take advantage of the first outdoor recycling program in Downtown Minneapolis.
Pedestrians will find 20 blue-and-green recycling containers along the mall from 5th to 10th streets, which can be used to recycle plastic, glass, cans, and mixed paper. DID Ambassadors will collect the recyclables as part of their regular trash pickup.
