Pat yourself on the back, Minneapolitans! According to Forbes, Minneapolis-St. Paul is the cleanest metropolitan area in the United States, along with Dallas-Ft. Worth.

The study asked residents from America's most populous metropolitan areas how they perceived the cleanliness of their cities. 90 percent of residents described Minneapolis-St. Paul as "very or somewhat clean." Just seven other metropolitan areas received similar praise upwards of 80 percent.

The Mpls Downtown Improvement District is proud of this accolade, as the DID Ambassadors work through all four seasons in order to make downtown Minneapolis an inviting place for everybody. Whether it's directing tourists or picking up litter, the MDID Ambassadors are dedicated to creating a vibrant downtown environment.
